Maintenance Philosophy:Why do office chairs require maintenance?
High-quality ergonomic office chairs are mechanical systems with moving components that experience wear over time. Cylinders, tilt mechanisms, arm supports, casters, and fasteners gradually degrade through daily use—even when a chair appears to function normally.Regular inspection and maintenance help identify issues early, preserving comfort, safety, and performance. Is chair maintenance really necessary if nothing is broken? Yes. Many chair failures occur suddenly after extended periods of unnoticed wear. Preventive maintenance addresses small issues before they become disruptive or costly, extending the usable life of the chair. How is chair maintenance different from simple repair?
Repair focuses on fixing a failure after it occurs. Maintenance focuses on preventing failures by assessing condition, addressing wear patterns, and servicing components proactively. What is your approach to maintenance?
Our approach is practical and experience-driven. We evaluate each chair individually, recommend only necessary service, and prioritize long-term reliability over unnecessary replacements.
Yearly Chair Health Check:A Yearly Chair Health Check is a structured inspection designed to evaluate the condition, safety, and performance of ergonomic office chairs over time.Rather than waiting for components to fail, this process identifies wear trends early—allowing targeted maintenance that helps extend chair lifespan and reduce unexpected downtime. What a Health Check Typically Includes?• Visual inspection of structural components
• Functional testing of height, tilt, and adjustment mechanisms
• Assessment of arm supports, casters, and bases
• Identification of wear patterns and early-stage failures
• Practical recommendations based on usage and environmentWho Benefits Most?• Offices managing multiple chairs
• Facilities teams responsible for long-term assets
• Home office users seeking reliability and comfort
• Organizations focused on sustainability and cost controlWhy This Matters?Well-maintained chairs support posture, productivity, and workplace safety. A proactive maintenance mindset helps organizations protect their investment and plan service intelligently rather than reactively.
Chair Buy-Back & Recovery:Have surplus, damaged, or unused office chairs? We offer chair buy-back and recovery for qualifying home and corporate seating. This program supports the responsible reuse and refurbishment of premium chairs.
